Riyad Mahrez

Riyad Mahrez was expected to leave the Foxes over the summer, but Ranieri somehow managed to hold on to him.

He had a slow start to this season, but he has picked up his form in recent weeks – and he has proved that he was not a one season wonder.

Mahrez differs from Vardy in that he is just 25-years-old, meaning that he still has plenty of time to move on.

However, if Leicester fail to improve this year and a club like Arsenal come in for him –  Ranieri can’t expect him to stay.
