Ten Premier League games down and Ronald Koeman’s Everton are currently in sixth place in the top flight standings.

Not bad work at all considering the Dutchman has only just embarked on his new career spell at Goodison Park.

Beating West Ham United 2-0 last time out, it was the perfect response following the most frustrating of losses against Burnley a gameweek earlier.

Having dominated so much of that game at Turf Moor, to concede a winner to Scott Arfield in the final stages was the ultimate sucker punch.

While many Toffees supporters will be pleased with the solid start that Koeman has overseen so far this season, it’s also worth noting that Everton have been far from perfect.

While this may seem harsh, if Everton truly do have designs on gatecrashing the top four at the first attempt under Koeman, the Toffees will need to improve somewhat to catch the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham who are immediately above them in the standings right now.

So without further ado, This Is Futbol are today listing the FIVE negatives we can take from the start of Everton’s 2016/17 campaign.
