He was linked with a transfer to Liverpool back in May and now, HITC report that Leeds United left back Charlie Taylor could place himself back on Jurgen Klopp’s transfer radar.

With the Whites having drawn Liverpool in the last eight of the EFL Cup, Taylor is likely to be a part of Garry Monk’s starting eleven the game that will be contested at Anfield on November 29th.

Klopp decided not to sign a new left back in the summer and has been playing James Milner in the position with success but the EFL Cup fixture would give the German a first-hand look at Taylor’s abilities once more.

Taylor handed in a failed transfer request at Elland Road back in August but nevertheless, the 23-year-old has started all of Leeds United’s 15 Championship fixtures so far this season.

While a formalised swoop for Taylor is metaphorical at this point, Liverpool would need to pay a fee for Taylor in January or else, negotiate a compensation fee via a possible tribunal in the summer, according to the report.
