His loan signing raised pulses in the summer and now, Leeds United star Pablo Hernandez has officially been identified as the most creative player in the Championship, report HITC.

According to Opta data, the 31-year-old Spaniard has created the most goalscoring chancesĀ in the second tier so far this season with 3.08 key passesĀ in just 12 Championship appearances.

Making up the top five were QPR’s Tjaronn Chery, Fulham’s Tom Cairney, Burton Albion’s Matt Palmer and Cardiff City’s Peter Whittingham with this foursome having played more games each.

Having managed the former Valencia man during his spell at Swansea City, Garry Monk brought Pablo Hernandez to Elland Road at the start of August.

Now seeming to hit his stride in West Yorkshire, Pablo Hernandez has made 12 league starts for the Whites so far this campaign and his creativity is a large part of the reason Leeds United currently find themselves within a playoff spot.

Whites supporters will hope that the former Spanish international can keep himself fit for the entirety of the campaign given his importance to the team.
