Ashley Fletcher (West Ham United)
Ashley Fletcher enjoyed another cameo appearance from Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United bench against Stoke on Saturday afternoon.
However, with Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho both set to return from injury over the next couple of weeks, Fletcher will be way down the striking pecking order and potentially not even on the bench.
A key figure in Barnsley’s return to the Championship on loan last season, fellow Yorkshire side Leeds United could really benefit from another striker to lighten the goalscoring burden off Chris Wood’s shoulders.
While Fletcher is yet to score for West Ham United, the 21-year-old Keighley native registered five in 21 appearances for the Tykes last season.
