Tottenham are hoping that an ambitious deal to sign Fulham brothers Ryan and Steven Sessegnon can be agreed before January according to a report from HITC.
With 16-year-old left back Ryan Sessegnon having forged a part of Slavisa Jokanovic’s first team at Craven Cottage this season, Steven is also making rapid progress in the Cottagers’ youth ranks.
Successfully signing Dele Alli from the Football League while then keeping the youngster on loan at MK Dons to see out the 2014/15 season thereafter, the report claims Tottenham would be keen on mimicking this kind of agreement with Fulham.
Looking to quickly wrap up a deal with the West London side, Tottenham face heavy competition for Ryan’s signature especially with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United having also watched the teenager closely.
Born in the year 2000, Ryan Sessegnon hasn’t only proved that he’s a solid defender but also a goalscoring threat in his fledgling career to date with two goals in four Championship appearances so far this season.
Having also earned five caps with the England Under-17 side, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for one of the Three Lions’ brightest young hopes.
