They’ve invested heavily in youth over the past few years and now, Tottenham are interested in landing 20-year-old Romanian international midfielder Razvan Marin, report talkSPORT.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli had been the most interested party with the Serie A giants scouting the Viitorul Constanta star at the weekend but Spurs won’t make any pursuit easy for them.
With PSV Eindhoven also credited with an interest in the wonderkid, Tottenham could be part of a three-way battle for Marin’s services with the 20-year-old billed as one of Romanian football’s next great hopes.
Despite only being 20, Marin made his senior debut for Viitorul Constanta back in 2013 and burst onto the Romanian national side scene this year in 2016.
Earning two caps to date, Marin even managed to score in a World Cup Qualifier against Armenia in a 5-0 rout earlier this month.
With no shortage of suitors for Marin’s services, the Romanian star may now have to weigh up his options while deciding which club can offer him the most playing time with Spurs blessed for midfield options at present.
