Seamless transition for new boy Nathan Redmond
Picked up from Norwich City for £10 million in the summer, Southampton looked a good fit for young Nathan Redmond and so it is proving to be in reality.
Utilised as a forward alongside Charlie Austin so far, Claude Puel seems to be getting even more out of Redmond than his managers at Birmingham City and Norwich did.
Having scored three goals in his opening nine Premier League outings for the Saints, Redmond has looked a threat in most of those games and all in all, it’s been a seamless transition from a player who must surely achieve England recognition if he carries on in similar form.
