Liverpool braced to receive huge offer this January?

|

He’s most certainly been Liverpool’s talisman since Luis Suarez’s departure in 2014 and now, Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a mega bid for Philippe Coutinho in January, report talkSPORT.

Picked up for just £8.5 million from Inter Milan in 2013, Unai Emery’s PSG are now prepared to pay whatever it takes to land the Brazilian international in three months’ time.

Starting the 2016/17 campaign in scintillating form, Coutinho has already registered four goals this term with the 24-year-old having scored 24 Premier League strikes in 114 appearances for the Reds.

Central to Jurgen Klopp’s plans at Anfield of course, Liverpool have proved in the past that they’re willing to hold onto their star man for as long as possible, as evidenced by Arsenal’s infamous failed swoop for Suarez.

Nevertheless, with PSG having uncharacteristically failed to land a superstar to replace the outgoing Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer, mega wealthy Nasser Al-Khelaifi certainly has the financial muscle to make the Reds sweat over Coutinho.
