He departed Liverpool for AC Milan for a €1.3 million compensation fee in January 2015 and now, Suso has claimed he has no regrets over giving up on his Anfield dream, report Football365.

Always highly rated in his time on Merseyside but unable to make more than 14 Premier League appearances for the Reds, the 22-year-old is now firmly among the first team picture at the San Siro.

Speaking about his decision to leave Anfield, Suso claimed: “I believe that when a club this important wants you then you can’t have doubts, it was the right choice.

“I’m fine here, I think that I’m not missing anything, maybe I’d like to have my family closer but they come to visit me and I’m fine with my girlfriend. Honestly, I don’t miss anything.”

Awarded Gennaro Gattuso’s old squad number 8 when signing for the Rossoneri last year, Suso had to similarly bide his time to make an impression in his new surroundings.

Initially sent out on loan to Genoa in January of this year, it was his six goals in 19 appearances for The Griffin that caught the attention of his parent club.

Starting all seven of Milan’s Serie A fixtures so far this campaign while scoring once in the process, Suso’s club are currently sixth in the Italian top flight standings.
