5 players who must exit Liverpool on loan in January

Divock Origi

With Divock Origi having played down suggestions he could join Juventus in January, what remains true is the fact that he’s only a back-up option under Jurgen Klopp right now.

When you consider the likes of Daniel Sturridge are struggling for regular game time at Anfield at the minute, the likes of Origi and Danny Ings can only expect game time in the EFL Cup.

Roberto Firmino has been Klopp’s chosen starting centre forward so far and with the German reluctant to change a winning formula at the minute, Origi simply has to bide his time.

But at his age of 21-years-old, not to mention the improvement he displayed in the Europa League last season, he needs to be playing and a temporary agreement come January could suit if the likes of Firmino and Sturridge are still fit and firing.
