It’s back to Champions League action for Tottenham Hotspur tonight who face arguably their biggest test in Group E.

Heading to North Rhine-Westphalia to take on Bayer Leverkusen, it’s important that Spurs don’t lose the game with things awfully tight in this competitive group.

The good news for Spurs is that Leverkusen are struggling in the Bundesliga so far this term with Roger Schmidt’s team way down in tenth place after only managing to win three of their ten league games so far.

Winless in the Champions League to boot, the Bay Arena-based side are only a point beneath Mauricio Pochettino’s men in the Group E standings right now having drawn both of their European fixtures thus far,

As for Tottenham, West Bromwich Albion managed to steal more important points away from Spurs at the weekend and just as bad as the dropped points was an injury to Toby Alderweireld who will be missing this evening.

An ever-present in the Premier League for Pochettino, the Belgian international is arguably the best centre back in the English top flight at the moment and replacing him won’t be an easy task.

Without further ado, This Is Futbol have devised what we believe will be Spurs’ starting eleven in Germany tonight.
