It’s a London Derby on the cards in the EFL Cup tonight as Chelsea head to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United for the first time at the new venue.

In buoyant mood following their 4-0 demolition of Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United on Sunday, the Blues looked like they were back to their best.

Crucially, it appears as if the players are now getting accustomed to Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 formation with the Italian having slowly introduced the system over the past few weeks.

At the beginning of the season, Blues fans might’ve thought that both Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso would simply be back-up players who would only really receive minutes in the EFL Cup.

However, both now appear crucial to the Blues’ new 3-4-3 system and right now, the Nigerian and Spaniard are flourishing as part of these tactics.

As for West Ham United, the Hammers only managed to squeeze past Sunderland in the final minute at home on Saturday and the club and fans are still very much getting used to their new London Stadium surroundings.

With Chelsea looking to take advantage of this, Thsi Is Futbol have attempted to guess Conte’s starting eleven for tonight’s game in East London.
