Roberto Firmino is doing his bit having scored four league goals this term but Liverpool are keen on adding another striker in the shape and form of Torino’s Andrea Belotti, report The Express.

According to Italian source CalcioMercatoWeb, Jurgen Klopp is prepared to part with £19.5 million to sign the Italian international in the January transfer window.

Starting the 2016/17 Serie A campaign in red hot form having scored five goals in Torino’s opening five fixtures, Belotti has now also been recognised at international level, earning three caps in 2016.

The Reds aren’t sole suitors of Belotti however with both Arsenal and Chelsea interested in the 22-year-old, and questions would need to be raised over Liverpool’s current striking crop.

Both Divock Origi and Danny Ings have struggled for game time so far this season and their futures would be brought into question should a swoop for Belotti materialise.

Having always struck double figure hauls at his three professional clubs to date – AlbinoLeffe, Palermo and now Torino – Belotti certainly knows where the goal is although a Premier League switch would represent a big step up in class.
