He’s been heavily linked with a January switch to AC Milan but Fenerbahce have now emerged as new bidders to hand an escape route to Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, report the Daily Star.

According to Goal.com, the Turkish giants are keen on a January loan deal for the Spanish international to appease their fans who are frustrated after a slow start to the season.

Uncharacteristically down in tenth place at the moment, Dick Advocaat’s side are flattering to deceive and have now targeted Fabregas to turn their Super Lig campaign around.

Fabregas is firmly out of favour at Stamford Bridge right now with the 29-year-old having only started one Premier League game against Arsenal so far this season.

With Conte persevering with the likes of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic in his 3-4-3 formation, it is becoming increasingly apparent that Fabregas won’t be receiving much Premier League game time with the Blues at full strength.

Fabregas currently has three years left to run on his Chelsea contract but only time will tell whether the former Arsenal captain is content to keep patiently sitting on the bench.
