Tottenham have been buoyed in their attempts to eventually sign Isco with the Real Madrid midfielder revealing he could be open to a switch at the end of the season, report talkSPORT.

One of the standout under-used players in European football right now, Isco has only managed to make five appearances under Zinedine Zidane so far this season and is clearly not content with his situation.

The former Malaga playmaker claimed: “If I’ve still only made a few appearances by the end of the season, I’ll look elsewhere.

“At 24 years of age I have to right to better myself.”

A star on the rise when joining Real Madrid from Malaga back in 2013, Isco just hasn’t been able to break the central midfield partnership of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos on consistent enough a basis over the past couple of seasons.

Winning two Champions League titles in his spell with the Bernabeu outfit, Isco’s comments still suggest he still wants to cling onto his Real Madrid dream with the club arguably the biggest in the world.

Nevertheless, there is clear room for optimism amongst Spurs’ fanbase with Tottenham supporters hoping that Zidane continues to use him sparingly between now and the end of 2016/17.
