He only joined Manchester United on July 6th but Serie A giants Juventus are already plotting an escape route for Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, report talkSPORT.

According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri could attempt to sign the 27-year-old outcast in January with Mkhitaryan having only featured four times in the Premier League thus far.

The former Borussia Dortmund playmaker is still yet to get his United career off the ground and has also suffered an injury set back in his short spell at Old Trafford.

That said, Jose Mourinho’s side have grown used to the midfielder not being around having last featured in the Manchester Derby defeat to City last month.

Juventus were among the sides interested in landing Mkhitaryan in the summer transfer window but ultimately missed out to United who were able to sanction a huge deal worth between £27 million and £30 million.

While it remains to be seen whether United would be willing to cash in on Mkhitaryan so early into his United career, if this were to prove the case, a lot of questions would be raised surrounding the Red Devils’ transfer policy.
