Euro giants hoping to land Everton man in loan deal

|

Having only managed five Premier League appearances for Everton, Turkish giants Galatasaray are still interested in landing Oumar Niasse in a loan deal, report the Liverpool Echo.

A forgotten man at Goodison Park, the Toffees’ £13.5 million signing has failed to convince on Merseyside and according to Turkish reports, Galatasaray could be poised to take the Senegalese off Ronald Koeman’s hands in January.

Frozen out of the first team picture under Koeman, Niasse has shown signs of professionalism in netting a hat-trick for the Toffees’ Under-23 side when facing Reading earlier this month.

Despite this feat, Niasse has failed to make an appearance in any of Koeman’s matchday squads so far this term and Everton are reported to want to claw back as much of his £13.5 million transfer fee from Lokomotiv Moscow as possible.

However, the Toffees are likely to make a huge loss on Niasse with the Daily Mail having reported in July that Galatasaray were interested in completing a loan deal worth £1 million back then.
