Manchester United’s start to life under Jose Mourinho has been a real mixed bag so far with the Red Devils sitting in sixth place on 13 points after the first seven Premier League games.

Most recently throwing away three points when conceding a late Joe Allen equaliser against Stoke City last weekend, it was incredibly frustrating for Red Devils fans to bear.

Battling on three fronts already this term with United caught up in the unwanted rigours of the Europa League, it will be a long and testing season for Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

But the former Chelsea boss always knew this was going to be a difficult task and seemingly one of his biggest challenges is curbing the expectation brought about by a lavish summer of spending.

Having shelled out on over £140 million worth of talent in the summer, expectations are high as they always are at Old Trafford and home draws to the likes of struggling Stoke City won’t appease Red Devils fans for long.

While we endure the international break, This Is Futbol are today reflecting back on the FIVE biggest negatives from Manchester United’s 2016/17 campaign so far.
