He is yet to start a Premier League game under Antonio Conte this term and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is now being trailed by three Serie A giants, report talkSPORT.

With AC Milan having initially been credited with an interest in Fabregas last week, Juventus and Inter Milan are also reportedly keen on handing the Spanish international an escape route in January.

Conte has favoured N’Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Oscar in the spine of this Blues team so far this season with Fabregas only receiving one opportunity from the start against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup.

Going up against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, it remains to be seen whether Fabregas will return against the side he used to captain but right now, it appears he might have to be content with a start against Leicester City in the League Cup this week.

While the report acknowledges that Antonio Conte would like to retain Fabregas at Stamford Bridge this season, surely the 29-year-old will want to be starting games while he is still considered in his prime.
