He’s been linked with an Arsenal transfer for the past couple of years but the Gunners’ pursuit of Adrien Rabiot looks dead in the water with Paris Saint-Germain in no mood to sell, report talkSPORT.

While Arsene Wenger moved to sign Granit Xhaka in the summer, Rabiot has always been a player the Frenchman has admired but the 21-year-old is now firmly a part of Unai Emery’s plans at Parc Des Princes.

Awarded a start in five of PSG’s six Ligue 1 encounters so far this term, not to mention starting against the Gunners themselves in the Champions League, Rabiot has finally earned a regular first team berth in the French capital.

News of PSG’s stance on Rabiot will also disappoint both Tottenham and Roma who had also been trailing Rabiot closely but for now, his immediate future lay in Ligue 1.

Earning 16 caps with the French Under-21 international side since 2013, the talk in France is that Rabiot will be called upon by Didier Deschamps and Les Blues’ senior ranks in the near future.
