Predicted Arsenal XI to face Chelsea tomorrow

Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin

Arsene Wenger has a positive selection headache in central midfield with Granit Xhaka having really come alive over the past week.

Scoring two long-range strikes against both Hull City and Nottingham Forest, it’s not only the Swiss international’s goalscoring that has been impressive but also the way in which he’s commanded the middle of the park.

Wenger has been favouring a central midfield duo of Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin in recent games but against Chelsea’s rapid front four, the Gunners are going to need discipline in the middle of the park.

While Coquelin is likely to pick up bookings, he is one that sits as well as the impressive Xhaka.

In Cazorla, he isn’t a naturally defensive player so the Spanish international might be the one that drops out against Chelsea.
