There is more than likely going to be first starts of the season for Mathieu Debuchy and Kieran Gibbs at full back with the ever dependable Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal receiving a rest.
Centre back is more interesting however with Rob Holding expected to build upon his solid start for Arsenal having last started at Watford prior to Shkodran Mustafi’s arrival while his partner is where the debate is at.
You’d expect Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny to be rested for Saturday’s huge London Derby against Chelsea so expect young Polish defender Krystian Bielik to make his second appearance in the Gunners’ first team.
Starting alongside Rob Holding in the 2016 MLS All-Star Game earlier this summer, the pair can call upon this experience of having already played together.
