Arsene Wegner once looked like building quite the French contingent at Arsenal, and with the host nation having played so brilliantly during the Euros he must surely be eyeing their team with envy and pondering moves for some of its top stars.
France has a glut of great players at the moment; this is close to being another Golden Generation. With so many top stars, you don’t even have to look at their Euro squad to find good footballers available at an enticing price. Which isn’t to say there aren’t some standouts …
