The Ukranian international has been attracting Premier League interest for some time and was linked with long-term admirers Arsenal and Everton once again earlier this week, after national team manager Mykhaylo Fomenko urged him to make a summer transfer to the English top flight.

He said; “If he is wanted by the top English clubs then, yes, he can show his best in the Premier League and he must do this. He is the leader of our team and leader of our squad.”

And according to The Liverpool Echo, the 26-year-old has surprisingly revealed that he does indeed plan to make the switch to English football during the coming transfer window, telling reporters; “I cannot reveal many details, but yes, I intend to move to England this year.”

Dynamo Kyiv reportedly value their talismanic attacker at around £25million.
