Eden Hazard

According to Goal, Arsenal are interested in signing Roma prospect Umar Sadiq; whilst The Sun report that Real Madrid hope to agree a sensational swap transfer with Chelsea involving Eden Hazard and James Rodriguez.

The 19-year-old striker, who measures in at a lofty 6 foot 6, joined the Stadio Olimpico ranks from Spezio last summer but has already made a noteworthy impact at first team level, scoring twice from four shots in just 189 minutes’ worth of Serie A action.

Also netting five times in nine UEFA Youth League outings for Giallorossi, the Nigerian prodigy’s impressive form has already gained an admirer in Arsenal according to his agent, Mohammed Lawal.

As quoted by Goal, Lawal recently told AllNigeriaSoccer.com; “Yes, there is interest from Arsenal but at this moment nothing is done. Contact was made with Roma so we will see where it takes us in the next few days/week.”

Meanwhile, The Sun report that Real Madrid want to hatch a sensational swap deal with Chelsea involving Eden Hazard and James Rodriguez – both of whom have struggled for form this season.

Indeed, the Belgium international has scored just twice since claiming last term’s PFA Player of the Year award, whilst the Los Blancos ace hasn’t hit the heights expected since moving to the Bernabeu after the 2014 World Cup.

With both attacking midfielders aged 25 come next season, both valued similarly by their current employers – between £70million and £100million – and both seemingly in need of a fresh start, Real Madrid believe a shock swap transfer deal could suit all parties involved.
