According to Mirror Football, Chelsea could sell loanee Nathan Ake to Watford for just £3million during the summer transfer window; whilst The Sun claim Real Madrid are preparing a £60million transfer bid for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.

The 21-year-old defender has thoroughly impressed on loan at Vicarage Road this season, averaging an impressive 3.5 tackles, 3.2 interceptions and 1.7 successful aerial duels per match to help Watford claim the best goals conceded record in the Premier League’s bottom half.

The Netherlands international offers great versatility, capable of playing in defence or midfield, and reportedly hopes to be involved in first-team affairs at Chelsea next season.

But according to Mirror Football, Quique Flores intends on signing Ake permanently during the summer transfer window and a transfer bid as low as £3million could convince the west London outfit to sell – perhaps due to the all-but-officially-confirmed chance in management at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, The Sun report that Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has emerged as a priority target for Real Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window, amid a campaign that has seen the 22-year-old bag a career-best 25 goals across all competitions.

It is claimed Los Blancos are already holding talks with the Belgium international’s agent, the controversial Mino Raiola, as they prepare a £60million transfer bid for the summer – although The Sun speculate a cash-plus-player deal could well be on the cards instead.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the 6 foot 3 striker in recent weeks.
