According to reports from France Football, Barcelona have seen a £27million bid for Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United transfer target Ousmane Dembele rejected by Rennes.
The 18-year-old has been in phenomenal form since making his full senior debut in November, going on to claim nine goals and four assists in 20 Ligue 1 appearances whilst averaging a division-best 4.4 successful take ons per match.

A host of Premier League clubs have recently been linked with the prodigious winger ahead of the summer transfer window, most notably Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United – whilst France Football document interest from Manchester City as well.
But Barcelona have also emerged as avid admirers of Dembele’s and it appears they’ve already made at least one approach for his signature, launching a £27million transfer bid after Catalan scouts watched him bag a hat-trick in a 4-1 over Nantes earlier this month.
But Rennes rejected the transfer bid and with so many of Europe’s top clubs interested – including Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich – appear ready to hold out for a higher fee. Dembele’s contract doesn’t expire until 2018, so they don’t need to cash in during the coming transfer window.
