According to Goal, Manchester United are ready to revive their interest in Benfica star Nicolas Gaitan; whilst Turkish-Football report that Tottenham Hotspur have been scouting Mainz midfielder Yunus Malli.

The Argentina international has been linked with an Old Trafford move for much of his Benfica career and was reportedly on their radar once again last summer – with some sources even claiming Louis van Gaal pulled the plug on a £22million deal.

Perhaps due to recent speculation suggesting the Dutchman will be ousted in the summer, Goal – who have summarised a report from Portuguese publication Record – claim United are set to revive their interest in the playmaking winger, who has bagged ten assists in 15 league outings this term.

However, they will most likely have to meet the 27-year-old’s £35million release clause and along with the Red Devils, Atletico Madrid and Zenit St. Petersburg have been mooted as potential suitors.

Meanwhile, Turkish-Football – who cite reports from TuttoMercatoWeb – claim Spurs scouts ran the rule over Turkish international Yunus Malli during a 1-0 win over Hannover last Saturday.

The Mainz star has been in impressive form this season, netting eight times from midfield in 20 Bundesliga outings whilst averaging 1.3 created chances and 2.1 dribbles per match.

The Lilywhites were linked with the 23-year-old before the January transfer window and the latest reports suggest he’s still very much a fixture on their radar. However, Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in the former Borussia Monchengladbach youngster.
