He’s further flourished in a Catalans front-line also containing Lionel Messi and Neymar, claiming the treble last year and this season netting 20 times in La Liga, but according to Mirror Football, the Citizens remain convinced they can lure him back to the English top flight at the end of the season.
Guardiola is already making preparations for the summer and reportedly intends to make at least eight additions, with an attacking accomplice to star striker Sergio Aguero one of his priorities. Suarez would more than fit the bill, as one of most talented and hardworking forwards in world football.
Mirror Football claim it will require a fee in excess of £40million to sign the 29-year-old. But conveniently, Suarez’s agent is Pep Guardiola’s brother – Pere Guardiola.
