According to The Daily Star, Pep Guardiola will look to bring Bayern Munich defender David Alaba with him to Manchester City next summer; whilst The Guardian report that Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has admitted he would be interested in a transfer to PSG.
All of the Citizens’ current full-backs are aged 30 or over and recent reports have revealed Guardiola will look to add at least two to his squad upon taking the Etihad hot seat in the summer. The Daily Star report that one could be David Alaba, who has made over 100 appearances under the Spaniard and almost 200 for the Bavarians since his debut in 2009.

The 23-year-old is famed for his technical quality, athleticism and versatility, having featured at left-back, left midfield and central midfield throughout his career – often filling the latter position frequently for the Austrian national team. Alaba is reportedly rated at £40million, a figure well within City’s financial reach, but Bayern will be loathed to part with their resident No.3.
Meanwhile, The Guardian report that Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted he’d struggle to turn down the chance to join Ligue 1 champions PSG – who the Blues face in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Amid a harrowing campaign at Stamford Bridge, the Belgium international has failed to find the net in the Premier League since claiming last season’s PFA Player of the Year award and has been linked with moves to Parc de Princes and Real Madrid frequently throughout the season.
The 24-year-old has now increased speculation regarding his future during an interview with Le Parisien. As quoted by The Guardian, he told the French publication; “[It is] difficult to say no to PSG, or to any of the teams capable of winning the Champions League. PSG are now in that category. And for me, winning the Champions League is my main aim.”
