According to Calcio Mercato, Arsenal are targeting Nice midfielder Vincent Koziello; whilst London Evening Standard report that Chelsea are reluctant to sanction Loic Remy’s transfer to the Chinese Super League until after their FA Cup clash with Manchester City.
The 20-year-old midfielder has become a mainstay in the Nice starting Xi this season, starting all but four of their 25 Ligue 1 fixtures to bag three goals and three assists. He’s also averaged an impressive 3.1 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, 1.1 successful dribbles and 1 created chance per match.
Some have compared him to France legend (and current national team coach) Didier Deschamps and according to Calcio Mercato, he’s already attracting interest from historic Francophiles Arsenal. The Italian publication claim Gunners scouts ran the rule over the France U20 in November, but AC Milan are also interested.

Meanwhile, London Evening Standard report that Loic Remy’s potential move to the Chinese Super League has been put on hold until after their FA Cup tie with Manchester City next weekend.
Shanghai Shenhua are prepared to pay £11million for the France international – and offer him a £106k per week contract – and the Blues appear inclined to sell. But with Radamel Falcao injured and January signing Alexandre Pato still some way off full fitness, Chelsea are reluctant to sanction a deal with their two biggest fixtures of the season just around the corner.
The west Londoners face PSG in the Champions League next Tuesday and Manchester City in the FA Cup the Sunday after, and the two competitions represent their only real chances of silverware this season as they find themselves 23 points away from the Premier League’s summit.
The £11million transfer of the 29-year-old, who is expected to be on the bench for both cup games after returning from injury, could take place following the City clash at Stamford Bridge. But the deal would have to be wrapped up in just five days before the Chinese transfer window slams shut on February 26th.
