According to reports from Mirror Football, Arsenal and Liverpool midfield target Granit Xhaka would love a move to the Premier League.
The Switzerland international has been in fine form for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, netting thrice in 15 Bundesliga outings whilst averaging 2.3 tackles, 3.1 interceptions and 81 accurate passes per match. The third statistic sees him rank in an impressive eighth place throughout Europe’s five leading top flights.

Arsenal and Liverpool have both been credited with interest in signing the £37million-rated midfielder recently. The Gunners have been linked regularly since November, whilst reports last month suggested Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has already discussed a potential Anfield move with Xhaka’s agent, Andy Gross.
Gladbach look set to sell at the end of the season, something director of football Max Eberl has already hinted at. The 23-year-old’s contract includes a £22.7million release clause for summer 2017, meaning the Bundesliga outfit only have two windows left to land a higher sum.
Furthermore, Xhaka has recently told German publication Blick that he dreams of playing in the Premier League. As quoted by Mirror Football, the former FC Basel star said; “England is my dream. I do not hide it. Whether I’ll be happy there, only the good Lord knows. For me, money is not important. Otherwise, I would not move from Basel to Monchengladbach in 2012. It’s about being a big challenge for me as a footballer.”
