According to reports from The Daily Mail, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Lewes prodigy Ben El-Mhanni.

The young forward is famed for his silky skills – earning him the moniker ‘the non-league Riyad Mahrez’ – and has even featured in Nike television commercials alongside Barcelona star Neymar. His Youtube videos have also proved incredibly popular – racking up around 100,000 hits.

The 20-year-old has impressed for Ryman Premier League side Lewes this season, attracting scouts from a number of top-flight and Championship sides, and is currently on trial at Crystal Palace.

But according to The Daily Mail, Champions League chasers Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are also monitoring the prodigious attacker – who can play on either wing or as a No.10.

El-Mhanni started his career in the youth teams at Barnet and Aldershot before moving onto Farnborough and eventually Lewes in English football’s seventh tier, and has recently spent time training with West Bromwich Albion.
