Earlier this month, it was reported that Colorado Rapids are keen to sign the 36-year-old after trading their No.1 Clint Irwin to FC Toronto, but Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has insisted that he’s not been contacted by the MLS outfit.

As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, he replied; “No at the moment there is nothing, there is nothing to comment on,” after being quizzed on Colorado Rapids’ rumoured interest in the veteran goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports report that Leicester City won’t attempt to sign Chelsea striker Loic Remy on loan this month.

The France international has been issued just one Premier League start so far this season and is desperate to ensure more regular game-time ahead of next summer’s European Championship on his home soil.

Crystal Palace, former employers Newcastle United and Leicester City have all been linked with loan bids for the 29-year-old in recent weeks, but according to Sky Sports, the Foxes aren’t interested in pursuing a deal.

Their depth up front is already so strong that 24-year-old striker Andrej Kramaric has been loaned to Hoffenheim for the remainder of the season.
