According to reports from The Metro, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City target Inaki Williams has signed a new contract with Athletic Bilbao.
The Spain U21, dubbed ‘the fastest player in La Liga’ after setting a new Spanish top flight record of travelling at a whopping 22.2 miles per hour last season, has attracted plenty of Premier League interest since the start of the January transfer window.

An impressive return of ten goals in 21 appearances across all competitions – including six strikes in 14 league outings – combined with his contract including a £15million release clause has seen Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City linked with the 21-year-old in recent weeks.
But according to The Metro, the winger-forward has now put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at San Memes until summer 2021 – ending any chance of a January transfer to the Premier League.

Perhaps more importantly in the context of Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and City’s long-term transfer plans, the new deal has raised Williams’ release clause to £38.2million.
