Bojan

According to reports from Mirror Football, the contract of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United target Bojan includes a £10million release clause.

The former Barcelona starlet has proved a real coup since Mark Hughes brought him to Stoke City at a miserly cost of €1.8million in summer 2014, striking up a formidable attacking partnership with winger-forward Marko Arnautovic and former Bayern Munich star Xherdan Shaqiri.

The 25-year-old has bagged five goals and one assist in 15 Premier League starts this term whilst averaging 1.4 shots, 1.2 created passes and 1.8 successful dribbles per match, playing an important role in shock wins over Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.

Bojan’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed by the Premier League’s top clubs. Last month, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United were all reported to be considering £15million bids for the tiki-taka forward, leading manager Mark Hughes to insist the club have no interest in selling during the January transfer window.

According to Mirror Football, however, the Potters may not have much of a choice. They claim the deal that brought Bojan to the Britannia Stadium eighteen months ago included a £10million release clause – leaving him ‘up for grabs to any interested parties.’

That sum is certainly within the financial reach of the Spaniard’s aforementioned suitors, but whether it convinces Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester United to come good on their reported interest remains to be seen.
