According to Mirror Football, Chelsea loan signing Alexandre Pato is set to arrive in London tomorrow morning; whilst The Express report that Liverpool are willing to meet Shakhtar Donetsk’s £38million valuation of Alex Teixeira.
The Blues have been in talks to sign the Brazil international over the last few weeks, with prior reports suggesting an £8million transfer to Stamford Bridge. But SporTV claim Chelsea are set to sign the 26-year-old on a six-month loan deal instead.

As reported by Mirror Football, agent Gilmar Veloz informed the Brazilian TV channel that the 5 foot 11 striker will head to London tonight – meaning he’ll touch down on Wednesday morning. Chelsea are expected to pay his £30k per week wages in full.
Meanwhile, The Express report that Liverpool are willing to meet Shakhtar Donetsk’s £38million asking price for Alex Teixeira – but won’t pay the full sum in one go.

A Reds delegation traveled to Florida earlier this month to propose a £23million bid for the attacking midfielder, who has scored 26 goals in as many appearances this season, but that and a follow-up offer of £29million were both reportedly rejected by the Ukranian outfit.
According to The Express, however, Liverpool are now prepared to meet their valuation. The deal would break Liverpool’s current record transfer fee but the Merseyside outfit want it structured around performance-related bonuses, meaning they won’t pay the full £38million up front.
