According to BBC Sport, Chelsea midfielder Ramires has completed a £25million move to Jiangsu Suning; whilst NBC report that Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is “highly likely” to leave for the MLS in May.

The Blues issued the energetic midfielder a four-year contract in October, but he hasn’t started a Premier League fixture since Guus Hiddink’s appointment as interim manager last month and reports of a shock move to China emerged earlier this week.

BBC Sport report that the 28-year-old has now officially joined Jiangsu Suning – a club managed by former Chelsea defender Dan Petrescu – in a deal believed to be worth around £25million.

Meanwhile, NBC Sport report that Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is “highly likely” to join Colorado Rapids at the end of the Premier League season.

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez denied he’d been contacted by the MLS outfit earlier this week but reports of their interest in the 36-year-old have steadily gathered pace during the course of the January transfer window.

That’s in no small part due to the Rapids trading their No.1 Clint Irwin to FC Toronto after securing in the top spot in the MLS Player Allocation Ranking – meaning they get the first refusal on any USA internationals moving to the American league.

NBC now claim an unnamed source as told ProSoccerTalk that Howard has held “serious talks” with the Colorado-based club and he’s now “highly likely” to join them. The move would take place in May once Everton’s Premier League campaign is over, but a deal could be agreed by the end of the month.
