Adrien Rabiot

According to reports from The Express, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur target Adrien Rabiot is set to join Marseille on loan.

The defensive midfielder is one of French football’s most exciting prospects, having claimed 47 youth caps for France and made nearly 100 appearances for current employers PSG at just 20 years of age.

The prodigious talent shocked manager Laurent Blanc last month by publicly declaring Parisians president Nasser Al-Khelaifi had agreed to let him go out on loan to improve his chances of making it into Didier Deschamps’ France squad for next summer’s European Championship.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both known admirers of the 6 foot 2 starlet whilst The Express moot Manchester United as potential suitors as well. But any bid for Rabiot will now have to wait until the summer, with the France U21 set to join Marseille on loan for the rest of the season.

The British newspaper document the Gunners as the most interested party and although they signed likeminded midfielder Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel earlier this month, Arsene Wenger is reportedly preparing a huge investment in his midfield options next summer to replace Bosman-bound trio Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini.
