According to reports from The Daily Star, Manchester United are compiling a dossier on Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as they prepare a £50million bid for next summer.

After finishing last season as the Premier League’s top scoring Englishman with 21 goals in 34 appearances, the 22-year-old was subject to sustained interest from Manchester United last summer amid rumours of a £40million bid.

Kane finds finds himself in the upper echelons of the division’s goal charts once again with a return of eight in 15 this season and that impressive tally has gained the 6 foot 2 striker another admirer in Premier League champions Chelsea.

They’re reportedly monitoring the England international amid doubts over Diego Costa’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge, with the view to launching a bid at the end of the season.

But according to The Daily Star, United are hoping a £50million offer in the summer will be enough to see them win the race for Kane’s signature, as they continue to compile a dossier on the in-form frontman. Their file reportedly includes ‘detailed computer analysis of his all-round game and character’.

Yet, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could still dig his heels in and refuse to sanction Kane’s departure. He’s seen as the posterboy of the new era at Tottenham, which they hope will see the club contesting for silverware regularly under Mauricio Pochettino.

Total drivel . Spurs will only sell if he demands to go . He wont. He can achieve everything he wants with what he now has around him. Can they find his equal for 50 million? No . They can find a mercenary but not a committed local kid living his dream

Whether you think Kane will leave or not, what has that got to do with Manchester United or Chelsea making a bid for him next summer? At no point in this article have I said Kane will or wants to leave, I have just reported on Chelsea and Man United preparing bids.

I tink at one point in time he will leave. They always do. Spur just need to prepare by tying him down on long term deal so that they can get 65-80 mil for him. Who says we can’t improve the squad with that kind of money this time around?

Very unlikely, Levy wants to keep him and he wants to stay. The fans would boycott WHL and the new stadium. No way for the next few years, and then it would be to Spain. Your report is flawed, Levy hates Utd and CFC
