According to reports from The Metro, Arsenal and Chelsea are set to battle over the services of Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old frontman has been compared in style to former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez and has just come to the end of an incredible season at La Bombonera, firing Boca to the 2015 title with an impressive haul of 21 goals.

Arsenal are known long-term admirers of the 5 foot 10 prodigy, but Chelsea have been mooted as the front-runners for his signature more recently – with some sources even claiming they’ve already agreed a deal that will see him arrive at Stamford Bridge in the coming transfer window.
But according to The Metro, who cite Spanish publication Fichajes, Arsenal are still very much in the mix to snap up the Buenos-Aires-born assassin next month and we could see a feisty bidding war develop between the two London rivals.
French outfit Monaco and Serie A side Inter Milan are also interested.
