According to reports from The Telegraph, Liverpool and Manchester United are set to battle it out for the services of PSG winger Lucas Moura.
The 23-year-old’s 16 goals in 91 Ligue 1 appearances have helped the Parisians claim three consecutive French titles, but he’s often had to endure the role of super-sub – especially in the Champions League – and recent reports suggest his Parc de Princes tenure could come to an abrupt end in January.

Indeed, The Telegraph claim the Parisians are ready to listen to offers for the Brazil international and have already decided upon a price-tag, £22million, with Liverpool and Manchester United emerging as avid suitors.
The Red Devils were linked with Moura, who infamously rejected the chance to move to Old Trafford in summer 2012, in November after Louis van Gaal revealed his desire add a ‘fast winger‘ to United’s squad. The South American speedster, famed for his penetrative pace, certainly fits the bill.
Meanwhile, reports from earlier this month revealed Liverpool have already ‘made contact‘ with Moura ahead of a potential January move. Premier League rivals Arsenal have also been mentioned as potential buyers in recent weeks, but The Telegraph believe it will be a two-horse race between United and the Merseysiders for the winger’s signature.
