According to reports from Mirror Football this evening, Monaco are preparing a fresh bid for Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda.
The attacking midfielder is one of the more noteworthy talents from the Blues academy ranks and had amassed an impressive haul of 25 goals in 42 appearances across the youth levels for Belgium before the summer, earning comparisons with PFA Player of the Year Eden Hazard.
Arsenal and Manchester City are both keen admirers of the 19 year-old and the Gunners were linked with an £8.5million bid back in June, after father Charly Musonda senior, a former Zambia international, suggested he could seek first team opportunities elsewhere.
But Mirror Football claim that after seeing a £10million bid rejected during the summer, Ligue 1 outfit Monaco are preparing a fresh bid for the Blues starlet. Leonardo Jardim’s side want to sign Musonda permanently but would also be open to a loan deal for the former Anderlecht youngster.
