According to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb via The Metro, Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Servette striker Lorenzo Gonzalez; whilst talkSPORT reveal that Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are targeting Arsenal youngster Joel Campbell.

Manchester United were first linked with Gonzalez back in June as scouts saw the then-Switzerland U15 record a brace against Hungary.

But according to TMW, the Red Devils have now accelerated their interest in the 16-year-old amid the emergence of several rival suitors, namely Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and a number of Eredivisie teams. A short, quick and stocky runner, many have compared the prodigious striker to Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are hoping to sign Arsenal starlet Joel Campbell on a free transfer. The Costa Rica international has enjoyed a decent run in the first team over the last few weeks, starting against Swansea City, Bayer Munich and Tottenham Hotspur amid injuries to Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott, but will be pushed to the peripheries of the squad once again upon their return to fitness.

Having made only six Premier League appearances since moving to the Emirates in 2011, the 23-year-old looks set to leave when his contract expires at the end of the season. Campbell will be allowed to discuss pre-contract terms with foreign clubs from January onwards and talkSPORT tip long-term admirers Fenerbahce and Galatasaray to battle it out for the winger-forward’s signature.
