According to reports from Bild via The Express, Liverpool have launched an ‘official’ £10million bid for Schalke sensation Leroy Sane.
The 19-year-old winger is enjoying an emphatic start to the season, claiming four goals and three assists in twelve Bundesliga appearances whilst averaging the fourth-most successful dribbles per match, three, of any player in the division.
Having also netted thrice in three outings for Germany’s U21 squad this season and resultantly earned his first senior cap against France on Friday night, Mane’s sensational rise has attracted plenty of interest from the Premier League.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were all linked last month, whilst The Sun reported on Saturday that Manchester United are also in the mix to sign the 6-foot attacker.
But the Reds are widely viewed as the most interested party after seeing a €15million bid rejected during the summer transfer window, and it appears the Merseyside club are once again tempting the Miners into selling.
