The Express reported on Sunday that the Baggies were close to an agreement with Liverpool regarding the 29 year-old’s departure and they now claim a deal is expected to be completed before the cut-off at 6pm today.
Meanwhile, Liverpool youngster Tiago Ilori could join Sunderland on loan for the rest of the season.
