According to reports from The Guardian this morning, Arsenal are considering a follow-up bid for Juventus star Simone Zaza when the transfer market reopens in January.

The Gunners are believed to have attempted a number of potential striker signings on deadline day after giving up on their summer-long pursuit of Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, including PSG front-man Edinson Cavani and Juventus forward Simone Zaza.

He’s amassed an impressive 49 goals in 117 league appearances throughout spells with Viareggio, Ascoli and Sassuolo, prompting Juve to repurchase the 24 year-old from Sassuolo for €18million in July – a clause inserted into Mapei Stadium transfer last summer.

But he already appears to be surplus to requirements at Turin Stadium having failed to feature in any of their competitive fixtures this season – in no small part due to the Serie A champs investing a considerable sum in new strike partnership Mario Mandzukic and Paolo Dybala during the summer.

Tottenham also expressed an interest in Zaza during the transfer window but it’s Arsenal who came closest to signing him on deadline day – only to be put off by his £22million price-tag.

According to The Guardian, however, who cite Sky Italia, Arsenal could revive their interest in January as their search for added firepower continues. Juve’s valuation remains £22million but a loan deal is also possible; provided the north London outfit are prepared to pay the 6 foot 2 attacker’s wages in full and a £1.4million loan fee.

Arsenal football club makes the highest noise whenever window is over. The is among the worst club ever to suropprt. People love watching arsenal play but hate the way wenger runs the club. Arsenal will do better without arsen wenger. Dortumund is doing fine now because their formal boss is out. Therefore wenger OUT
