According to reports from The Daily Star this morning, Arsenal have been offered PSG winger-forward Ezequiel Lavezzi in an £8.5million deal, whilst Manchester United have held talks with the player’s agent.
The Argentina international boasts 32 goals in 136 appearances for the Parisians, helping fire them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles since moving to Parc de Princes from Napoli in summer 2012.
But he’s become an increasingly peripheral figure in the last 18 months and is now into the final year of his contract, leading to rumours that PSG are looking to sell the 30 year-old this summer.

Liverpool are long-term admirers of Lavezzi’s but according to The Daily Star, two Premier League rivals are now ahead of them in the queue for his signature.
The British tabloid, who also moot Tottenham and West Ham as potential suitors, claim PSG have already offered the Albiceleste star to Arsenal for an £8.5million fee; whilst Manchester United have made contact with Lavezzi’s agent, according to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport.
Both clubs are looking to enhance their strike forces before the end of the transfer window and with wage demands of £90k per-week, Lavezzi represents a financially prudent option.
