According to reports from The Daily Star yesterday evening, Barcelona winger Pedro will snub interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and PSG to join Premier League champions Chelsea this summer.
The 27 year-old has done and won it all throughout his tenures with the Catalans and the Spanish national team, winning five La Liga titles, three Champions League titles, the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship.
After struggling for game-time over the incredible three-man front-line of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez during the 2014/15 campaign, the 51-cap international appeared to have ended speculation over his Nou Camp future last month by signing a contract extension until 2019 – which included a £108million release clause.

But last week, Pedro hinted he could still move on in the current window, describing his situation as ‘delicate’. Liverpool and PSG have since been linked; whilst Arsenal are believed to have contacted the 5 foot 6 attacker’s agent.
According to The Star, however, it’s Chelsea who have the inside track in the race for Pedro’s signature. They claim manager Jose Mourinho and former Barca team-mate Cesc Fabregas have both convinced the Spaniard to test himself in the Premier League.
They also allege the Premier League champions are more than happy to meet Pedro’s £21.5million price-tag.
